Induction Schedule

Inductions are held at the following time weekly, starting Aug 1,2002:

Sunday 6pm to 7pm Pacific time (9pm-10pm Eastern).

With only rare exceptions, Lord Enegue will not induct at times other than these scheduled times, and will not induct past the hour stated. The inductions begin on time if at all possible; inductees arriving more than 15 minutes late may have to come back at the next induction time.

Inductions always begin in the Foyer of the Silvergate Inn. Lord Enegue will wait for the first 15 minutes in the Foyer before moving to a quieter area. (If you arrive after that 15 minutes and he is gone, you have missed that day's inductions, and will need to return at the next scheduled time.) Sponsors must accompany their inductee to the inductions, and introduce them to Lord Enegue when he asks for them. This usually requires about 20-30 minutes of time on the sponsor's part, after which they are free to go. It is not necessary to have the 5,000 initiation fee of silver coins on you when you arrive for inductions; Lord Enegue will take you by the Bank.

On occasion, it may be necessary to cancel inductions. (Lord Enegue is the only officer empowered to induct members.) In those cases, every effort will be made to announce that fact in red on this page. It may be wise to check this page before your planned induction time.

However, it must be noted here that Enegue is extremely conscientious about attending inductions if he can. Like you, he is played by a real person, and oftentimes illness, work and other real problems can prevent him from attending inductions. In that case, he does try to send word, but sometimes even that is impossible. Although that can be an inconvenience, please try to remember that he is not an NPC, and be patient and understanding. Please show respect and understanding for the Lord of the Manor in those incidents, and especially show the person who is delivering the "bad news" for him respect. If it happens to be his wife, please think about how you'd feel in her position before you say something unpleasant about him in front of her. (Also, you probably need to be aware that Lord Enegue and Lady Brownyng are as close as two people can be; anything you say about him in front of her will get back to him, and could affect your chances of being accepted into the House, as per the By-Laws.)
